Trace's passion for technology began in high school while taking programming classes. Beginning with those high school programming classes, he has developed expertise in many areas of IT.
His interest in web development and programming grew at the College of Charleston. While majoring in Computer Science he developed one of the first listed websites in South Carolina! After spending a lot of time behind a computer and not in class, Trace moved to Florida where he worked at a friend's computer store. While there he learned more about hardware, software, maintenance, and troubleshooting. While there he also worked for an e-commerce and web services company as their Webmaster and Assistant Server Administrator.
In 1997, Trace returned to the College of Charleston, this time as an employee. He was hired as the college's Webmaster and Assistant Server Administrator. While working there he began attending a fast growing church called Seacoast Church. In 2001 Seacoast hired Trace as their IT Director and Webmaster. Though his job focus has shifted to mostly IT, he still enjoys programming and web development.
